Theme: Ancient and Modern Political and Philosophical Thought
Experience modern and ancient Athens with
an opportunity to listen to international scholars from all over the world to
talk on ancient and modern political and philosophical issues. After the
successful hosting of the 2004 Olympic Games, the city of Athens has been
totally renovated with modern infrastructure, revealing, as never before, its
rich past, bringing to surface remnants from all the historical periods:
antiquity, classical times, Roman and the Byzantine periods. Educational trips
are organized to Marathon and to the three islands of the Attica Gulf.
Who Should Attend: Senior Undergraduate Students and postgraduate students of
Politics or Philosophy.
Cost: 1,200€
per person. It includes 8 nights of accommodations in a double room of at least
a 4 star hotel with breakfast, Reception on the 1st Day; one Greek
Night with Dinner, Dance and Live Music; A Half-day Trip to Marathon with lunch
in a traditional Greek Village; One Day Cruise to 3 Greek Islands with lunch;
In total 6 lunches and 3 dinners; lecture material; – all participants pay
this fee.
